What is Go Together?
Go Together offers a secure cloud-based K12 transportation platform of school branded web and mobile apps that empower districts, schools, and families to get students to and from school. We provide a secure, easy-to-use platform to help families join existing trips or start new ones.
Go Together is a trusted transportation platform that matches you to other families who want to create a carpool, walkpool or bikepool. It is intuitive and easy to use. You can easily set up your profile, include the number of seats you have, as well as, get matched based on your children’s grade.
Go Together was built with security in mind. We have taken every precaution to ensure your information is safe and private. Click here for the Privacy Policy. Families, even students and faculty, are approved by the school to ensure that their matches come from within your own school community.
It’s up to you. Your school approves all members to create a custom Go Together community. You choose a preference in your user settings whether you match within your community only or the entire Go Together user network. If you have two children who attend different schools in the Go Together network, you can be approved for pool matching at both sites under the same account.
Why is Go Together important?
The future of school mobility is here. School buses, long carpool lines, and inconsistent access to a ride presents challenges for many students to get the care and learning they need in order to be successful. If they do not succeed, we do not succeed. Collectively or individually.
Carpools save time and reduce the stress of daily drop off and pickups. Carpools also create fun friendships between children and families, especially those new to your school. How Does it Work?
We provide online and mobile access to our software. School districts enter into a 10-month licensing agreement to gain 24/7 access in order to create as many trips as your families would like. Trips can be one-time or recurring, including notifications to send e-mail or text messages to alert families of users close by and even when it’s their turn to drive!
No! There is no cost for families registering through their school’s Go Together. Membership is free for families and students. Your school pays an annual subscription fee.
Go Together help you with the scheduling and getting the trips on your calendar. You have the ability to create a one-time or recurring schedule, and even more than one type of trip, using an easy-to-use interface. Set your notifications to receive e-mail or text for matches, including when it’s your turn to drive.
Go Together matches participating families whose children attend the same school. You can send an email to say hi first or request to join a carpool directly through our software. Should the parent accept, you can meet, exchange contact information and start an online dialogue about your carpooling needs.
Once you are an approved member of your school’s carpool, please login by going to your school’s website and finding the Go Together link.
No. You do not need a vehicle to join. Go Together can match you with other families who are interested in carpooling, walkpooling or bikepools. It is up to you to discuss the type of school pool. You can use our online school pool request and mail system to start the dialogue.

Winning to us means helping you get students to and from school every single day. Your enthusiasm about Go Together starts at the first announcement of your school’s partnership with us. Promotion and adoption are key. Be sure to sign up quickly and spread the word. Try out the various modes of transportation in order to find a routine that works for you.
